- I have been painting for over 20 years. I began my painting career as an exterior house painter when I was in college. When I discovered I had a knack for mixing colors I thought it might be a good idea to try and make a career out of painting. I was trained at The Finishing School and I had no idea what it would turn into. I also had a friend who is now my husband who happened to be a design and business genius. I have continued to take courses, read books, and just play around the the myriad materials I have around. Today I am able to paint almost anything. In almost any fashion.
